As a client of the Lisa Burbage Team, you will have two licensed Realtors and an office assistant working hard for you. My team combines various levels of expertise. Our services and skills are second to none...these include a seasoned negotiator and eighteen year veteran Realtor, a Marketing Specialist and Internet/Technology Expert, and a Closing/Listing Coordinator. One of us is a lifelong Charlestonian and all are knowledgeable about different aspects of the Charleston area. The benefits to you are obvious. With our team, you will not have to wait for an individual agent who is trying to do it all. Problems are avoided or mitigated during the closing process because team members are free to coordinate and communicate with all parties involved. We are “on the cutting edge” of a constantly changing real estate market. The team attends seminars, conferences and training courses to ensure that we are armed with the best knowledge, training and experience. Your success is our success.

    Personal Information

What I enjoy most about real estate is that people make big decisions and I help them make the right ones. I am married with two grown stepsons ...Jason's career in land development has him living in Greenville,SC and Daniel is a Methodist minister in Columbia, SC. I also have three cats. My Maine Coon cat, Mepkin, is named after Mepkin Abbey and the former Mepkin Plantation and lives with us in Charleston. Our other two cats, Wampus, a lowcountry Gullah word for "wild cat," and Brudder, Wampus' brother are barn cats at our farm. I enjoy being active in the community. My activities include volunteering with the Gibbes Museum of Art , currently serving as the President of the Women's Council at the museum; the College of Charleston, Junior League of Charleston and the Chi Omega Alumnae Association. I am also a member of a ladies book club. We read a variety of books and always have great fun! My other hobbies include running/jogging, biking and entertaining. One of my goals for 2007 is to run a half marathon (13.1 miles) with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team-in- Training program....which I did in October 2007 in San Francisco, CA.

I have lived in Charleston for more than 30 years, to include the West Ashley area and Mt. Pleasant. Currently my primary residence is downtown Charleston. My husband, John, is a 35+ year newspaper journalist. He now works on the corporate side with the Charleston newspaper, The Post and Courier. We also own a farm/wildlife refuge in nearby Hampton County where we enjoy nature. I invite you to join us in the Charleston lifestyle....

    Sincerely,

    Lisa Burbage,
